Development of a PC-based sign language translator

While a hearing-impaired individual depends on sign language and gestures, non-hearing-impaired person uses verbal language. Thus, there is need for means of arbitration to forestall situation when who does not understand the wants communicate with person. This paper concerned development PC-based translator facilitate effective communication between persons. Database hand gestures in American (ASL) created using Python scripts. TensorFlow (TF) used creation pipeline configuration model machine learning annotated images database real time gestures. The implementation done software environment it runs PC equipped web camera capture comparison interpretations. developed able translate ASL/gestures written texts along corresponding audio renderings at an average duration about one second. In addition, match equivalent gesture stored even 44% similarity.
